  • Serve as teacher coach for 30 first and second-year teachers in schools across Washington, DC and Prince George’s County, MD.

  • Coach teachers using principals of data-driven instruction and culturally responsive pedagogy to impact student achievement.

  • Serve as adjunct faculty for Johns Hopkins University School of Education and lead Seminar in Transformational Leadership and Teaching course.

  • Served as the link between Great Minds and the users of its various curricula.

  • Managed customer service team of 3, overseeing implementation and technical support for users.

  • Organized and executed Listening Tours in schools using the Eureka Math curriculum.  Conducted contextual analysis via focus group discussions, observations, and surveys.  Analyzed and presented user findings to multiple departments at Great Minds.

  • One of the founding members of a start-up non-profit organization based on the model of Teach For America. Researched, developed, and executed the groundwork for key functional areas including fundraising, recruitment and selection of Fellows, and leadership development.

  • Identified, researched, and cultivated donors; wrote successful proposals for grants and corporate sponsorship, securing seed funding of over $200,000 from multiple pipelines; set and tracked progress to quarterly and annual funding goals.

  • Developed and implemented a rigorous selection process for candidates for the 2014 Fellowship program.
